Our health professionals provide talks and displays for community groups and exhibitions and can demonstrate a selection of assistive technology devices. We regularly present to a wide cross-section of the community: from schools, health ageing groups, and businesses to TAFE and university students.

LifeTec also delivers professional development workshops on assistive technology and related topics for health professionals and individuals who may have an interest.

Community Presentations

This service is a general education session of up to 90 minutes aimed at providing relevant information for clients and carers. These sessions increase awareness of assistive technology, its availability, and its use. Topics include:

• Computer Access and Environmental Control Units
• Communication
