LifeTec Queensland is a leading provider of information, consultation, and education on assistive technology that can help individuals improve their quality of life and remain independent.
In partnership with a range of complementary organisations, LifeTec Queensland provides advice on the range of available solutions regardless of a person's age or level of ability.
LifeTec assists a wide range of people from all walks of life.
Our clients include older people who wish to remain independent in their homes for as long as possible, as well as children and adults with a disability.
Some of our clients have health issues as a result of ageing or illness and simply want to make life easier.
Our health professionals assist people to maximise their independence and their ability to manage everyday tasks whether in the home, workplace, or out in the community.
LifeTec Queensland receives funding from a number of different bodies. The majority of our funding is from the government at both a Commonwealth and State level. We receive funding from Home and Community Care (HACC) as well as Disability Services Queensland and Queensland Health. As a HACC service provider it is important to make our clients aware of their Rights and Responsibilities.
