CHSP Home Repairs & Maintenance

As we get older, keeping up with home maintenance tasks can become more difficult. But that doesn't mean you need to sacrifice your safety, comfort, or independence.

LifeTec's CHSP Home Repairs and Maintenance services are here to support older Australians with essential home upkeep. Our team is here to help you stay living independently in your own home for longer.

  • Repairs to your locks, windows & doors

  • Minor carpentry work, including upgrading locks and fixing doors and cupboards

All repairs are completed by vetted and qualified professionals who prioritise your safety, comfort, and peace of mind.

Why Use CHSP for Home Maintenance?

Small issues, if left unaddressed, can become bigger hazards - especially for older adults living alone or with limited mobility. LifeTec's maintenance services help:

  • Prevent accidents such as slips, trips, or electrical hazards

  • Keep your home secure and functional

  • Avoid costly repairs in the future

  • Support your independence for longer

By taking care of the little things, we help you focus on what matters — living well at home.

Who's Eligible?

Eligibility for CHSP is based on your age and support needs. If everyday tasks have become more difficult and a little support could improve your health and wellbeing, CHSP may be right for you.

  • 50 years or older (or 45 years or older for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people) on a low income and homeless, or at risk of homelessness

An aged care assessment will determine your eligibility for CHSP services, including specific modifications and repairs.

How Much Will It Cost?

You may be asked to make a contribution toward the total cost, based on the type of services provided and your financial situation.

We'll guide you through the funding process and help you understand what's included.
