Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
LifeTec provides CHSP services across Brisbane and Townsville to help older people live safely and independently at home. Our Occupational Therapists and licensed tradespeople provide practical Home Adjustments and Home Repairs & Maintenance based on your assessed needs.

Complete a My Aged Care assessment
My Aged Care will assess your needs and determine your eligibility for CHSP services.
Receive your referral code
If approved, you will receive a referral code for the CHSP service you need.
Send your referral to Lifetec
Give your referral code to LifeTec and our team will help you take the next step.
Who May Be Eligible?
You may be eligible to access CHSP services if you:

Are aged 65 years or older
-
Are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person aged 50 years or older
-
Are homeless or at risk of homelessness and aged 50 years or older
-
Need entry-level support to continue living safely and independently at home
Eligibility is determined through a My Aged Care assessment.

Costs and Contributions
CHSP services are subsidised by the Australian Government, but you may be asked to contribute towards the cost.
The amount will depend on the service, your circumstances and the work required. LifeTec will explain the quotation and any contribution before work begins.
