LifeTec provides Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) services across Brisbane and Townsville, supporting older adults to live safely and independently in their own homes. Our occupational therapists and licensed tradespeople work with you to identify risks, recommend practical solutions, and deliver high‑quality repairs and minor home modifications that make everyday life easier.

Our CHSP Services
Keeping up with repairs can be difficult as we age. LifeTec’s CHSP‑funded maintenance service helps you stay safe at home with support such as:

General maintenance to keep your home in good condition
Our tradespeople are fully vetted, insured, and experienced in working with older adults.
Minor Home Modifications
Small changes can make a big difference. LifeTec provides CHSP‑funded modifications such as:

Safety improvements recommended by an OT
All modifications are designed and overseen by our occupational therapists to ensure they meet your needs and safety requirements.
Who's Eligible?
Eligibility for CHSP is based on your age and support needs. If everyday tasks have become more difficult and a little support could improve your health and wellbeing, CHSP may be right for you.
You may be eligible for CHSP if:

You are 65+ (or 50+ for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people)

You need support to stay safe and independent at home
-
You are on a low income and at risk of homelessness
Eligibility is determined through a My Aged Care assessment.
